Good food good price
I stumbled across Bamboe on a Sunday and was very pleased that they have no weekend surcharge. Lucky for us, it wasn’t crowded and there was enough space. There were a wide variety of authentic dishes and the portions were good for the price. Moreover, the staff was super friendly to us. I will definitely recommend everyone to have a go here if you visit Camberwell, especially after your shopping at the Sunday market.

Delicious Indonesian style food, authentic enough, rich and flavorful dishes. The chicken satay was delicious. Fried rice was good, very flavorful.

Great Indonesian food restaurant. Food are well seasoned and beautifully flavoured. Fresh and generously portioned. The grilled chicken is juicy, tender and flavourful.
Their sambal is awesome. Rarely to encounter nice sambal in Melbourne and this definitely one of them. Located in a humble joint near Camberwell marketplace, it is perfect meal for after fresh market visit or Camberwell Sunday market.
Highly recommended and will definitely worth repeat visit.

Truly amazing experience! Though it’s a really small space but the food is to die for. It was our first time trying Indonesian Food but that was really good. We ordered 12 dishes for 10 people, and we shared the food among ourselves. Highly recommended their Mee Soto, Fried Chicken, Fried Squid ✨✨ Will definitely visit again!

Delicious food we have here, we have nasi uduk set, (coconut milk rice) with fried chicken and sweet fried tempe and peanuts and salad on side. The place is clean and has a relax vibe. The owner is so friendly and helpful. Definitely will come back with more friends...
